Our epoxy flooring options are limitless!

Epoxy Coating and Epoxy Flooring

Epoxy is the result of mixing resins and hardeners together. It is a very durable, slip-resistant surface that is simple to maintain and great for areas with high traffic. It is also perfect for coating rough and pitted concrete floors. Epoxy can also be applied over wood, steel, metal, ceramic tile, and fiberglass. It is a quick and affordable solution for long lasting flooring in commercial buildings and it can provide high levels of chemical resistance.

Depending on your needs, epoxy flooring can be basic or very decorative. It comes in many colors (from bright primary colors to pastels and earth tones). It can be applied in different patterns, such as checkerboard or stripes. We can also create the presence of granite or terrazzo floors by combining the epoxy with color chips.

Epoxy Urethane Cements

Urethane cement flooring is often used in food processing facilities; commercial kitchens; places exposed to water, such as a dishwashing area; and in coolers and freezers. It is also commonly used in pharmaceutical and chemical industries.

Urethane cements are usually installed directly over concrete or cement. This creates a seamless flooring system by filling cracks and resulting in a smooth surface. The benefits of this include:

Vapor Emission Barriers

We understand that the movement of water vapor from high concentrations to lower concentrations, known as Moisture Vapor Transmission (MVT), can cause thousands of dollars in damage to impervious flooring, which includes surfaces that we work with (epoxy coatings and urethane coatings).

To avoid MVT, we install the best vapor control solutions available. We follow the American Concrete Institute’s latest guidelines. We consider all critical information during this process—beginning with how we prepare the floor prior to placing the barriers, and then ensuring that the barriers are installed correctly, based on the square footage and the moisture in the concrete. Even the best barrier products can be useless if they are not properly installed.
